Installing your eSIM
Your order gives you one activation code in three interchangeable forms. Pick whichever method is easiest for your device.
Scan the QR code
Any eSIM phoneBest when the QR code is displayed on another device.
Open your order page on a laptop or second phone and scan it with the phone that will use the eSIM. A phone can't scan a code shown on its own screen.
Tap the install link
iPhone, iOS 17.4+Available on supported iPhones and compatible software versions.
Open your order page on the iPhone itself and tap "Install on this iPhone." iOS hands the code straight to the installer. Older iPhones won't react to the link.
Type it in manually
Always worksEnter the activation details directly into your phone settings.
Every phone lets you enter the details by hand. Your order page shows exactly the values your phone asks for, with a copy button next to each.
What the code is made of
An eSIM activation code contains the information your phone needs to download the profile: an address plus a one-time ticket. Your phone connects to the address and redeems the ticket.
An eSIM installs only once. If you delete it from your phone, the code may not be reusable, so keep the plan installed until your trip is over.
- SM-DP+ Address
rsp.example-carrier.comThe server your phone downloads the profile from.
- Activation Code
K2-1LS-1P0RRRQThe one-time code for your plan. Some phones call it the "matching ID".
- Full activation string

- ICCID

Entering the code by hand
The path differs slightly by manufacturer, but the required information stays the same.
iPhone

- 2Tap Use QR Code, then Enter Details Manually
- 3Paste the SM-DP+ Address
- 4Paste the Activation Code
- 5Leave Confirmation Code blank if not required
- 6Label the plan and set it as your data line
Android
- 1Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Add eSIM
- 2Open the manual installation option (often "Need help?" when the scanner opens)
- 3Paste the activation string (the LPA: line) or SM-DP+ Address
- 4Enter the Activation Code
- 5Confirm the download and wait for the install
- 6Enable the line and Data Roaming
Menu paths vary by manufacturer. On Samsung it's Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM; on Pixel, Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Download a SIM instead. Install over Wi-Fi before you leave — the profile download needs a connection, and validity only starts once the eSIM first connects at your destination.
Works with most modern phones

Pro tips
Install before you fly
Set up your eSIM while you still have a reliable Wi-Fi connection, so it's ready the moment you land.
Keep both SIMs active
Use your regular SIM for calls and messages and your eSIM for travel data.
Enable data roaming
Turn on Data Roaming for your eSIM line when required — without it, the eSIM may not connect abroad.
